Terry Switenky

Is a life-long producer in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Research and development has led to the commercial introduction of crops such as waxy, hulless barley; maple peas; wolfberry (goji berry); quinoa; and fenugreek. Terry Switenky was also a cofounder of the Saskatchewan Soil Conservation Association. Has participated in large international agricultural projects geared toward new crop and equipment introduction. Terry has also been a registered member of the Canadian Seed Growers association. Special crops and development programs have always been priority. Terry brings a wealth of industry contacts to this project, including food science specialists, agricultural management, new market research and development, sport nutrition, food processors and food logistics, Health Canada licensing for crops such as hemp as well as the Canadian Food Inspection Agency final product requirements. Terry is responsible for developing a Saskatchewan Hardy variety of Wolfberry which is being tested for cancer research as well as health supplements. His specialties include:

Ed brings the practical experience necessary to the company as it relates to livestock and land management. The importance of efficient land use, crop rotations and soil rejuvenation will be Ed’s focus as he manages the field operations for AgroDevCo.
